Tramadol ER 200mg is a non-narcotic, but can be addicting, but I'm able to take it and it relieves my severe back pain and helps reduce my Migraine Headaches of which I have suffered for years. My prescrip is 2 tablets twice a day and one extra if I need it. I know it's the ER that I'm taking, but it's better than a fist fullof Vicoden in my opinion. I tried everything including Lortab, but the Lortab put me in such a fog that my child kept asking me if I was okay, so I switched. It does help to reduce my pain so I can lead a normal life but I do have to take up to 3 50 mg pills a day. I sometimes get a pressure-type headache about an hour after I take it and if I'm having a low-pain day and don't take it, I definitely feel some withdrawal symptoms and take one just to stop the withdrawal.
