Yes. Fioricet is a very good medicine fro migraine.

i am young, about 28 years old.i get tension headaches and severe migraines this medication works if i take it soon as i feel a migraine coming on, unlike other meds this one actually works for me, although it interacts with my other meds i do very well. but don’t over do it if you don’t need it don’t take it. it gives you one hell of a rebound headache then a migraine like you can’t even imagine, and thats what happened to me a couple of years ago, when my doc told me take them for prevention. now more new doc told me take when neccessary, it is a miracle.

I have been using Fioricet for 10 years for Migraines and have found it to be the best treatment for me. It can sometimes make me feel a little “stoned” but that passes within half an hour and I can move on with my day.

I”ve had migraines since age 8,finally went to my DR. at age of 23 and this is what he gave me. It changed my life completly, and I was able to live a fun, full life… Then at age29-30 iwas blessed with a beutifully large baby boy.11.5oz !The headaches drasticly changed 4days after his birth. so I now have Chronic Daily migraine Headaches, and have pain 24//7 for 19yrs,now, Nothing else I have tried works to help the pain. I juggle life around my headaches.It has been a very useful med. for my needs.

I have suffered from severe, debilitating cervigenic migraines every few days, each lasting from 3 to 10 days. Little to no sleep at night. Tried it all; Cervical blocks, occipital blocks, facet injections, tramadol, amitriptylene, protriptylene,soma, halcion, skelaxin, flexeril, codiene, vicodin, physical therapy, deep tissue massage, bio feedback, surgery, etc. This is the only med that touchs them. It must be taken at the first hint of a migraine. In 15+ years I have never had an adiction problem.

this medication has helped me with my migrains. it is a good drug but only if you really need because it is a strong medication. this drug works so good for me that their are several days that go by that i do not have to take it and i like that beacause i hate getting migrains.

The only reason I am NOT satisfied is my own fault…I got soooo addicted several yrs ago & had to get help! It works like a miracle for migraines but be very careful to take it only when needed for pain.

this medicine was a great medicine untill it became a want to have all the time, and my mind was telling me that i was having migrains just so i could have more when in fact i was fine. just use with extra percaution please.

I had a headache for three days and was hospitalized. They could find nothing to help me get over the headache. Finally they tried fioricet and it worked. I now have some on hand so when I feel a headache coming on I usually take two pills and it is gone. If a headache gets away from me, I can usually use four pills and that is all I need. I get a headache once a month or less often.

It has taken soooo long to find something to treat the headaches I haave. The very first day I took this it was gone! What a Godsend!!

This medicine really worked for my migranes but I began getting rebound headaches when I wasnt taking it. If you get migranes 3 or more times a week I dont recommend taking this medicine.

Thhis works 90 per cent of the time, as long as you take it as soon as you feel the headache coming. Only thing, you will test for abnormal liver enzymes, I tested for years and no one ever said that the meds were doing it. The retested over and over and ran different blood work, the last thing they wanted to do was a liver biopsy!! Now, I am trying to, after ten years, to try something different! Magnesium, B-12 and COQenzyme is supposed to prevent migraines. Hope it will work!

I found this drug to work very well and my migraines are usually gone within a half hour of taking.

I have suffered with migraines since i was 9.Throughtout my life i have tried a mass variety of different over the counter drugs,they did absolutely nothing. A few weeks ago i went to the dr. and had myself looked at, was unable to stand the pain any longer, it was interfering with my life. I was prescribed fioricet, tried to have an open mind maybe this medication would actually help me, it did. The first time i took it, it made me feel a little funny but pretty soon i was sleeping and out of pain and that for me is absoulety amazing. I would however like to find the cause for my headaches, but in the mean time i think this drug will help me be me again.

I have had migraines since my teens. Six years ago I had, what I thought was a migraine, go extremely bad and had two brain bleeds/stroke. Please don’t ignore a sudden worse than migraine headache! Fioricet was prescribed for the daily headaches afterwards and has saved my daily existence. I now take them only as needed but am not addicted as some say. I agree that some drs want to not prescribed them lately and give you xanax instead which is addictive. I’ll take fioricet.

I started this medication about two years ago, it worked like magic! However, about 4 months ago, it stopped working completely, I presume I began getting immune to the effects of the medication. The medication not only got rid of my migraine, it caused me to sleep like a baby, which is very helpful in my opinion during a migraine.

Since I have suffered migraines since the age of 6, I have been through a huge amount of treatments and medications to try to help with my migraines. After several stays overnight at the hospital hooked up to IV’s being given the strong medication DHE(if anyone has ever gone through taking this I am sure you understand the horricfic experience I had with it), a few years ago I finally came into contact with a doctor who had enough sense to prescribe Fioricet for me…and ever since then it has been the number one thing to relieve my pain. I understand that doctors have to take precautions when prescribing this drug, but when there are only so many days supply there, and I have to make it last a month or so it can become hard at times, especially when I have the really really bad attacks…making sure that I have enough to relieve the migraine, and enough just incase I have another attack before I am able to get a refill…so that can be extemely frustrating at times! But, overall this has been the best thing I have found, and the list of meds I have been through consists of 3 long pages. Only being 22yrs old it can be scary having to deal with these consistant headaches, but I feel that as long as I am cautious with my use of this medication and use it as I am supposed to I will make it through, and those of you who suffer from migraines and feel the same, I strongly reccomend giving Fioricet a try.

This is the best migraine medicine that i have ever taken. It had literally cleared up my migraine in ten minutes. This medicine did not make me drowsy, dizzy, or even nauseated. I would recommend this to anyone especially if you are pregnant. I though that I would be stuck dealing with these migraines through pregnancy, but luckily i received this prescription.
